What is PiPar? ▼
PiPar is an AI life management app with six specialist personas. Each has its own memory and expertise — they consult each other and coordinate. Voice calls or text chat, and PiPar can call you on schedule for briefings, planning sessions, and check-ins.
Full built-in toolkit: task management with projects and kanban, calendar with Google sync, time blocking, documents, notes, voice recording with transcription, email integration, image generation, web search. It's not just a chatbot — it's an operational system with 45+ AI tools working behind the scenes.

What makes PiPar unique? ▼
Most AI apps are chat tools — you ask, they answer. PiPar is different: it's a management layer. Six specialized personas with persistent memory, a full task and calendar system, proactive scheduling, and the ability to call you. It handles the organizing, tracking, and coordinating that other AI tools don't touch.
PiPar calls you. Schedule morning briefings, planning sessions, check-ins — PiPar initiates the call at the scheduled time. It can call when you've been quiet too long or keep postponing critical tasks. This is unique to PiPar.
Six specialists, one team. Each persona has separate memory and expertise. They consult each other and coordinate so you don't repeat yourself. PiPar tracks which AI tools you use for what, what matters across your whole life, and holds context you'd otherwise carry in your head.
Life management, not just chat. Calendar sync, task management with projects and kanban, time blocking, proactive reminders, email integration, document creation, voice recording. PiPar is the operational system that connects everything and keeps it moving.

Do I need technical skills to use PiPar? ▼
No. You talk to PiPar like you'd talk to a person. No prompts to learn, no special syntax, no AI knowledge required.
There are a lot of settings, but you don't need to change any of them to use the app — the defaults work fine. If something confuses you, ask PiPar about it. You can even send a screenshot in chat and PiPar will explain what you're looking at.
The AI models, credits, and features are there if you want them. If you don't care, just chat. It works.
-
How does the AI calling feature work? ▼
You schedule when you want PiPar to call — daily planning at 9am, weekly review on Sundays, post-workout check-in with Casey, whatever fits your life. At the scheduled time, PiPar initiates a voice call through the app.
You can also enable optional proactive features: check-in calls after periods of inactivity, or reminder calls when you keep postponing critical tasks. All configurable, easy to turn off.
For this to work, PiPar needs the "Display over other apps" permission (officially called "Appear on top") so it can show the incoming call even when you're using other apps.
-
Why does PiPar need so many permissions? Can I trust it? ▼
Each permission enables a specific feature:
Microphone: Voice calls with AI personas.
Camera: Take photos for translation, document scanning, or to show PiPar something.
Storage: Save generated images and documents to your device.
Calendar: Two-way sync with Google Calendar (optional).
Notifications: Alerts, reminders, and incoming call notifications.
Display over other apps: Required for PiPar to call you — the call screen needs to appear even when you're in another app.You can deny any permission and still use PiPar — you just won't have that specific feature. All your data is stored locally on your device. We're a small Finnish company (NEX Oy), not a data harvesting operation.
-
Where is my data stored? ▼
On your device. All your data — conversations, tasks, notes, documents, memories — is stored locally on your phone. Nothing is stored on our servers outside of active sessions.
Backup goes to your own Google Drive, not ours. AI processing happens through API calls to providers (Claude, GPT, Gemini, etc.) who don't train on API data. European infrastructure, GDPR compliant.
You can see everything PiPar knows about you, edit it, or delete it all with one button.
-
How does calendar sync work? Is it safe? ▼
Calendar sync is optional — PiPar has its own internal calendar that works without Google. If you enable sync, it's two-way: events you create in PiPar appear in Google Calendar and vice versa.
Our recommendation: If you're cautious, create a dedicated "PiPar" calendar in Google Calendar and sync only that one. This way, if anything goes wrong, your main calendar stays untouched. With AI, it's always smart to be careful.
You can also use PiPar's internal calendar only and skip Google sync entirely. Tasks, scheduling, and the Today View all work without it.
-
Can I use PiPar offline? ▼
Yes, partially. All your data is stored locally, so you can access and manage tasks, notes, calendar, and past conversations without internet. The manual tools work offline.
AI features (chat, voice calls, image generation, web search) require internet connection since they process through AI providers.
-
Can I use PiPar on multiple devices? ▼
Yes. Since your data is stored locally on each device (not on our servers), PiPar doesn't sync automatically between devices. Instead, you control it through backup and restore.
If you enable Google Drive backup, PiPar creates a folder called PiParAppData with subfolders for each device you use. You can restore any device's backup to any other device whenever you want. This means you can either keep devices in sync manually, or intentionally run different PiPar setups on different devices — work phone vs personal phone, for example.
It's a button press, not a background process. You decide when and what to sync.
-
Do I need a Google account? ▼
Yes, for sign-in. PiPar uses Google authentication. But calendar sync is optional — you can use PiPar's internal calendar without connecting to Google Calendar.
-
Which AI models does PiPar use? ▼
Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Mistral, and Deepseek. You can choose which model to use based on task, preference, or budget — different models use different amounts of credits.
Models are shown by star rating:
⭐⭐⭐ most capable
⭐⭐ balanced
⭐ efficientHigher stars mean more intelligence but also more credits. No API keys needed — PiPar handles all connections.
-
How do credits work? ▼
Credits are used for AI features — chat, voice calls, image generation. Manual tools (tasks, notes, calendar) don't use credits.
Subscribers get 10,000 credits monthly included, plus discounted rates if they need more. Free users can buy credits as they go. The app shows real-time credit usage so you always know where you stand.
-
How does the memory system work? ▼
Each persona maintains its own memory — what it learns about you in its domain. Casey remembers your health constraints, Basil knows your dietary restrictions, PiPar tracks your projects and patterns.
There's also an automatic diary that summarizes conversations by date. You can browse what happened when, search for past topics, and see what each persona knows.
Everything is transparent and editable. You can view, modify, or delete any memory at any time.
-
Can personas see each other's memories? ▼
Not directly. Each persona has separate memory. But they share calendar access — they can see each other's schedules but only manage their own.
When something bigger needs coordinating, or when you don't want to re-explain something another persona already knows, they can consult each other directly. You can also ask them to do this — "check with PiPar about that" — and they'll bring back what's relevant.
They can also leave messages for each other. When you next chat with a persona, they might have context from a colleague. And for things that affect all areas of your life, there's an internal bulletin board where any persona can flag something important for the others to stay aware of until it's resolved.
-
How do I cancel my subscription? ▼
Through Google Play — manage subscriptions in your Google account settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period, then revert to Free tier. Your data stays on your device either way.
-
What if I have problems or need a refund? ▼
Standard Google Play policies apply for subscriptions and in-app purchases. If you have issues, contact us at pipar@nexii.fi and we'll sort it out.
-
Is there an iOS version? ▼
Not currently. We're a small team building our own infrastructure-compatible system first. The field is shifting rapidly, and with rumors of significant changes in the Apple ecosystem, we chose to focus on Android for now.
We might expand to iOS if we find skilled team members who want to join us. Maybe someday, but not now.
-
What languages does PiPar support? ▼
App interface: English, Finnish, German, Spanish, French (more coming).
AI conversations: All languages supported by the underlying AI models — which is most major languages. You can chat in one language and have the interface in another.
-
Who makes PiPar? ▼
NEX Oy, a small software company in Finland. We're not a big tech company harvesting data — we're building tools we want to use ourselves. European infrastructure, GDPR compliant, focused on actually being useful rather than engagement metrics.
